4-Ingredient Country Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  1. 1 lb breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
  2. 6 large eggs
  3. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  4. 2 cups frozen shredded hash browns
    (no need to thaw)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C / 375°F.
  2. Brown the sausage in a skillet; drain excess grease.
  3. Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  4. Layer hash browns, then sausage, then cheese.
  5. Whisk eggs and pour evenly over the top.
  6. Bake 30–35 minutes, until eggs are set and top is lightly golden.
  7. Rest 5 minutes before serving.

Optional (Still Simple) Add-Ins

(Only if you want to stretch to 5–6 ingredients)

  • Salt & pepper
  • Diced onion or bell pepper
  • Splash of milk for fluffier eggs
