⚠️ Note: Truly zero carbs isn’t possible with traditional bread, but this has zero net carbs (fiber cancels carbs).
Zero-Net-Carb Bread (Egg White & Fiber Bread)
Ingredients
- 1 cup liquid egg whites (or whites from ~8 eggs)
- ½ cup bamboo fiber (or oat fiber — NOT oat flour)
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cream of tartar (helps structure)
Optional
- ½ tsp garlic powder or onion powder
- Sesame or everything-bagel seasoning on top
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold in bamboo fiber, salt, and vinegar.
- Pour into pan and smooth top.
- Bake 35–40 minutes, until set and lightly golden.
- Cool completely before slicing (very important).
