🍰 Classic Old-Fashioned Butter Cake

📝 Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  2. Cream butter + sugar until light and fluffy
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well
  4. In another bowl, mix flour + baking powder
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the batter
  6. Add milk + vanilla and mix until smooth
  7. Pour into a greased pan
  8. Bake for 30–40 minutes until golden
