Stuffed Pepper Casserole is a cozy, one-pan twist on classic Stuffed peppers—same flavors (beef, rice, peppers, tomato), but easier because everything cooks together in a casserole instead of stuffing individual peppers.


🍲 What it is

A hearty baked dish made with:

  • Ground beef
  • Bell peppers
  • Rice
  • Tomato sauce
  • Cheese (optional but delicious)

🍳 Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 cup uncooked rice (or 2 cups cooked)
  • 2–3 bell peppers (chopped)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2 cups tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tsp paprika or Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

👩‍🍳 How to make it

1. Cook the beef

  • In a pan, brown the ground beef
  • Add onion and garlic, cook until soft

2. Combine ingredients

  • Stir in chopped peppers
  • Add rice (uncooked or cooked)
  • Pour in tomato sauce and seasoning

3. Simmer (if using uncooked rice)

  • Add a bit of water or broth
  • Let it cook until rice is tender

4. Bake

  • Transfer to a baking dish
  • Top with cheese
  • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes

🍽️ Tips

  • Use colorful peppers for better flavor and look
  • Add chili flakes for heat 🌶️
  • Swap beef for chicken or keep it vegetarian
