Slow Cooker Carrot and Potato Mash

🥕🥔 Slow Cooker Carrot and Potato Mash is a warm, comforting side dish that’s simple to prepare and perfect for family meals.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium Potato, peeled and chopped
  • 3 medium Carrot, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • ¼–½ cup Milk
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1–2 cloves Garlic, minced

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the vegetables
Place the chopped potatoes and sliced carrots into the slow cooker.

2️⃣ Add flavor
Add butter, garlic (optional), and a pinch of salt.

3️⃣ Cook
Cover and cook:

  • Low: 6–7 hours
  • High: 3–4 hours
    until vegetables are very soft.

4️⃣ Mash
Add milk and mash everything together using a potato masher until smooth and creamy.

5️⃣ Season & serve
Taste and add more salt or pepper if needed. Serve warm.


Optional Add-Ins

To make it even tastier:

  • 🧀 Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 🌿 Fresh Parsley
  • 🧅 Sautéed Onion
  • 🥛 A spoon of Sour Cream for extra creaminess

✅ Tip:
If you want a richer mash, replace part of the milk with cream or add extra butter.
