Here’s an easy, crowd-pleasing slow cooker barbecue meatballs recipe—perfect for parties, game days, or an easy dinner.


🍖 Slow Cooker Barbecue Meatballs

🛒 Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen fully-cooked meatballs (beef, turkey, or homestyle)
  • 1 ½ cups barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)
  • ½ cup grape jelly (or apricot preserves for a twist)
  • 1–2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Optional: ½ tsp red pepper flakes (for heat)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Add meatballs to the slow cooker (no need to thaw).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together barbecue sauce, jelly, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings.
  3. Pour sauce over meatballs and stir to coat.
  4. Cover and cook:
    • Low: 4–5 hours
    • High: 2–3 hours
  5. Stir occasionally if possible. Once heated through, switch to Warm for serving.

🔥 Flavor Variations

  • Sweet & Spicy: Add 1–2 tbsp sriracha or hot honey.
  • Smoky: Use a smoky bourbon BBQ sauce and add 1 tsp smoked paprika.
  • Hawaiian-style: Add ½ cup crushed pineapple (drained).

🍽 Serving Ideas

  • Toothpicks as an appetizer
  • Over mashed potatoes or rice
  • On slider buns with coleslaw
  • In a sub roll with melted mozzarella
