Classic Scrambled Eggs on Toast
Ingredients (1 serving)
- 2 eggs
- 1–2 slices bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
- 1 tbsp butter
- Salt & pepper
- Optional: splash of milk or cream
Instructions
- Toast the bread until golden and crisp.
- Whisk eggs with a pinch of salt, pepper, and milk (if using).
- Cook gently
- Melt butter in a nonstick pan over low–medium heat.
- Add eggs and stir slowly with a spatula, pushing from edges to center.
- Finish soft
- Remove from heat while still slightly creamy (they’ll finish cooking).
- Serve
- Spoon eggs over toast. Add extra butter if you like.
