  1. Place raw chicken breasts in the slow cooker (single layer if possible).

  3. Add liquid (very important):
    • ½–1 cup chicken broth, water, sauce, or soup
  4. Cover and cook:
    • LOW: 4–6 hours
    • HIGH: 2–3 hours
  5. Chicken is done when it reaches 165°F (74°C) internally and shreds easily.

⚠️ Do not start on “warm”—always cook on LOW or HIGH.
