Put canned peaches in a slow cooker

Here’s a simple way to use Canned Peaches in a slow cooker dessert. 🍑


🍑 Slow Cooker Canned Peach Dessert

Ingredients

  • 2 cans Canned Peaches, drained (reserve syrup if desired)
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Butter, cut into small pieces
  • ½ cup Oats or crumbled Graham Crackers for topping

Optional:

  • ¼ cup Chopped Pecans
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the slow cooker:
    Lightly grease the bottom with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. Add peaches and spices:
    Place the canned peaches in the slow cooker.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and drizzle with a little reserved syrup if desired. Add vanilla extract if using.
  3. Add butter:
    Dot the top with small pieces of butter.
  4. Top with oats or crumbs:
    Sprinkle rolled oats or crumbled graham crackers over the peaches. Add pecans if desired.
  5. Cook:
    • Low: 2–3 hours
    • High: 1–2 hours
      Cook until the peaches are bubbly and the topping is golden.
  6. Serve:
    • Warm, as-is, or with Vanilla Ice Cream
    • Also works with Whipped Cream for extra indulgence.

💡 Tip:
For a slightly firmer dessert, mix 1 tsp of cornstarch into the syrup before cooking to thicken it.
