Pork Chop Supreme

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops (about ¾–1 inch thick)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil or butter
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk or chicken broth
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Optional: ½ cup sour cream (extra creamy)
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet and brown chops 2–3 minutes per side (do not cook through).
  4. Arrange chops in a greased baking dish.
  5. Spread sliced onions over chops.
  6. In a bowl, whisk soup, milk, garlic powder, paprika, and sour cream (if using).
  7. Pour mixture over pork chops.
  8. Cover tightly with foil and bake 45–60 minutes, until tender.
  9. Remove foil for the last 10 minutes if you want light browning.
  10. Garnish and serve.

  • Biscuits or dinner rolls
