Pineapple Bake Recipe

Here’s a classic, sweet-and-buttery Pineapple Bake recipe—perfect as a side dish or dessert and often served with ham or holiday meals.


Pineapple Bake Recipe

Ingredients (serves 6–8)

  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers (about 1 sleeve)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • Preheat to 350°F (175°C).
    • Grease a medium baking dish.
  2. Make the pineapple mixture
    • In a large bowl, mix crushed pineapple (with juice), sugar, eggs, and flour until smooth.
    • Stir in melted butter and shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Assemble
    • Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish.
    • Sprinkle crushed Ritz crackers evenly over the top.
  4. Bake
    • Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, until golden on top and set in the center.
  5. Serve warm
    • Let cool slightly before serving.

Tips & Variations

  • For extra richness, mix a little melted butter into the cracker topping.
  • Prefer less sweetness? Reduce sugar to ¾ cup.
  • Works great as both a side dish with ham or a dessert.
