Pile sliced onions and these 4 ingredients over beef:
- Cream of mushroom soup
- Beef broth
- Worcestershire sauce
- Dry onion soup mix
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Place 2–3 lb beef (chuck roast, round steak, or stew beef) in a baking dish.
- Cover generously with sliced onions.
- In a bowl, mix:
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1–2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- Pour over the onions and beef.
- Cover tightly with foil.
