Parmesan Chicken Casserole
Ingredients (serves 4–6)
- 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 2 cups cooked pasta (penne, rotini, or egg noodles work great)
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- ½ cup Alfredo sauce or heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & black pepper
- ½ cup breadcrumbs or crushed Ritz crackers
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- Fresh parsley or basil (optional)
How to Make It
- Heat oven
Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish. - Mix the base
In a large bowl, combine chicken, pasta, marinara, Alfredo (or cream), half the mozzarella, half the Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. - Assemble
Spread mixture into baking dish.
Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan. - Crunchy topping
Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly on top. - Bake
Bake uncovered 25–30 minutes, until bubbly and golden. - Rest & serve
Let sit 5 minutes. Garnish with herbs.
