Ingredients

  • 2–3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced or cut into chunks
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2½ cups chicken broth
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • ½ cup heavy cream (or milk for lighter)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: chopped parsley or peas for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  5. Stir in egg noodles, reduce heat to medium, and simmer uncovered 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender and most liquid is absorbed.
  6. Lower heat and stir in cream, remaining butter, and Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and stir to coat.
  8. Simmer 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat. Garnish and serve warm.
