Here’s an easy, kid-favorite recipe for No-Bake Homemade Crunch Bars—chocolatey, crispy, and just like the classic candy bar 🍫


No-Bake Homemade Crunch Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips (or semi-sweet)
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter or chocolate hazelnut spread (optional but adds richness)
  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate
    • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips (and peanut butter, if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  2. Add cereal
    • Gently fold in crispy rice cereal until fully coated.
  3. Set
    • Spread mixture evenly into a parchment-lined 8×8-inch pan.
    • Press gently to level.
  4. Chill
    • Refrigerate for 1–2 hours, or until firm.
  5. Cut & enjoy
    • Lift out, cut into bars, and serve.

Tips & Variations

  • For a true crunch-bar style, use plain milk chocolate with no peanut butter
  • Add a pinch of salt for a sweet-salty bite
  • Mix in crushed pretzels or toffee bits for extra crunch

These keep well in the fridge for up to a week.
