Mediterranean Greek Chicken Wrap with Spicy Feta Sauce

Serves: 4 wraps


Ingredients

Greek Chicken

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Spicy Feta Sauce

  • ¾ cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1–2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1–2 tbsp hot sauce (or chili paste)
  • 1 small garlic clove

Wrap Fixings

  • 4 large pita breads or flour tortillas
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced
  • ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • Shredded romaine or mixed greens
  • Fresh parsley or dill (optional)

Instructions


1. Marinate the Chicken

  • Mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Toss chicken in marinade.
  • Marinate at least 30 minutes (up to 8 hours).

2. Cook the Chicken

  • Grill, pan-sear, or bake at 400°F (205°C) for 18–22 minutes, until cooked through.
  • Rest 5 minutes, then slice.

3. Make Spicy Feta Sauce

  • Blend feta, Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, hot sauce, garlic until smooth.
  • Adjust spice and thickness as needed.

4. Assemble Wraps

  1. Warm pitas or tortillas.
  2. Add greens, sliced chicken, tomatoes, cucumber, and onion.
  3. Drizzle generously with spicy feta sauce.
  4. Sprinkle herbs if desired.
  5. Roll and serve.
