🧾 Ingredients

  • 3–4 medium potatoes (russet or any starchy type)
  • 2–3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

Toppings:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cooked chicken bits or turkey bacon (optional)
  • ¼ cup sour cream or yogurt
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions
  • Optional: jalapeños, chili flakes

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep potatoes

  • Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Wash potatoes and slice into thick rounds (about ½ inch).

2. Season

  • Toss slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

3. Bake

  • Arrange on a lined tray in a single layer.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and tender.

4. Add toppings

  • Sprinkle cheese and cooked toppings on each slice.
  • Return to oven for 5–7 minutes until cheese melts.
