Irresistible Cream and Berry-Filled Pastry Balls

Posted on November 30, 2025 by Admin

Here is a delicious recipe for Irresistible Cream and Berry-Filled Pastry Balls — light, flaky pastry puffs filled with sweet cream and fresh berries, then dusted with powdered sugar. They look fancy but are incredibly easy!

You can make them with puff pastry, crescent dough, or even a simple no-yeast dough.

🍓✨ Irresistible Cream & Berry-Filled Pastry Balls

Ingredients (makes 12–16 pastry balls)

For the Pastry

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
(or 1 can crescent dough or biscuit dough)

  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

For the Cream Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Zest of ½ lemon (optional)

Berries

  • 1 cup chopped strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries

  • 1–2 tsp sugar (optional, to sweeten berries)

Finishing

  • Powdered sugar for dusting

  • Optional: melted white chocolate for drizzling

🥣 Instructions

1. Prepare the Cream Filling

  1. Beat cream cheese until smooth.

  2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; mix well.

  3. In another bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks.

  4. Fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.

  5. Refrigerate while preparing pastry.

2. Prepare the Pastry Balls

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cut puff pastry into 12–16 squares.

  3. Add 1–2 berries to the center of each square (don’t overfill).

  4. Fold corners together and pinch well to seal — shape into a ball.

  5. Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  6. Brush with egg wash.

3. Bake

Bake 15–18 minutes or until golden and puffed.
Let cool completely (important before filling with cream!).

4. Fill the Pastry Balls

Once cooled:

  • Poke a small hole in each ball with a knife or piping tip.

  • Pipe the chilled cream inside using a piping bag or zip-top bag.

(If you don’t want to pipe, simply slice them open and spoon cream inside.)

5. Finish

Dust with powdered sugar and add:

  • extra berries on the plate,

  • or drizzle with melted white chocolate.

Serve immediately or refrigerate up to 2 days.
