Garlic Mushrooms Cauliflower Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 8 oz mushrooms (button or cremini), sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes, lemon juice, or grated Parmesan
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook cauliflower: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add cauliflower, season with salt and pepper, and cook 6–8 minutes until lightly browned and tender-crisp.
  2. Add mushrooms: Stir in mushrooms and cook another 5–6 minutes until they release moisture and begin to brown.
  3. Add garlic & seasoning: Add garlic, paprika, and thyme. Cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Finish: Taste and adjust seasoning. Add lemon juice, red pepper flakes, or Parmesan if desired.
  5. Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley.

  • Extra crispy: Roast cauliflower first, then finish in the skillet
  • Vegan & low-carb: Naturally fits both
