Here’s a quick, juicy, restaurant-style Garlic Butter Steak Bites recipe—tender on the inside, crispy on the edges, and drenched in garlic butter. Ready in about 10 minutes!


🥩🧄 Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 1½ lbs sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip
    (cut into 1–1½ inch cubes)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½–1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
  • Optional: red pepper flakes, lemon wedge, or a splash of Worcestershire

Instructions

1. Prep the steak

  1. Pat steak bites very dry with paper towels.
  2. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

2. Sear the steak

  1. Heat a large skillet (cast iron is best) over high heat.
  2. Add olive oil.
  3. When the oil is shimmering, add steak bites in a single layer (do not crowd).
  4. Sear 1–2 minutes per side until browned.
  5. Remove steak bites to a bowl; repeat in batches if needed.

3. Make the garlic butter

  1. Lower heat to medium.
  2. Add the butter to the pan; melt.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook 20–30 seconds (don’t brown).
  4. Return steak bites to skillet and toss to coat in garlic butter.
  5. Cook 30–60 seconds more to warm through.

4. Serve

  • Top with parsley or red pepper flakes.
  • Optional: squeeze a little lemon or add a splash of Worcestershire.

  • High heat = deep browning.
  • If they steam, they’ll be tough—work in batches.
  • For extra tenderness, use ribeye or New York strip.
  • Want more flavor? Add a teaspoon of steak seasoning or smoked paprika.
