Fresh Fruit Salad

Here’s a colorful, juicy, Fresh Fruit Salad recipe that’s simple, customizable, and perfect for breakfast, parties, or potlucks. The light honey-lime dressing makes the flavors pop!


🍓🍍 Fresh Fruit Salad (with Honey-Lime Dressing)

Ingredients (Serves 6–8)

Use any fruit you love — here’s a classic combination:

Fruit

  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled & sliced
  • 1 ½ cups blueberries
  • 1 ½ cups grapes (red or green), halved
  • 2 cups pineapple chunks
  • 2 kiwis, peeled & sliced
  • 2 oranges, peeled & segmented
  • 2 bananas (add right before serving)
  • Optional: mango, peaches, watermelon, apples, raspberries

Dressing

  • 2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice (or lemon juice)
  • 1 tsp lime zest (optional but brightens flavor)

🥣 Instructions

1. Prepare the fruit

Wash, peel, and slice fruit into bite-size pieces.
Place all fruit (except bananas) in a large bowl.


2. Mix the dressing

Whisk together:

  • honey
  • lime juice
  • lime zest

3. Combine

Pour dressing over the fruit.
Gently toss to coat.


4. Add bananas last

Slice and add bananas right before serving to prevent browning.


5. Serve

Enjoy immediately or chill for 1–2 hours to let flavors blend.


⭐ Tips & Variations

No-brown apple trick

Toss apple slices with a little lemon juice before adding.

Minty Version

Add 1–2 tbsp fresh chopped mint.

Creamy Version

Stir in a mixture of:

  • ½ cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp lime juice

Tropical Version

Use: pineapple, mango, banana, kiwi, coconut flakes.

Berry Salad

Use all berries and swap lime juice for lemon juice.
