Deviled ham salad

Here’s a classic Deviled Ham Salad recipe—creamy, tangy, and perfect for sandwiches, crackers, or wraps.


🥪 Deviled Ham Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 can (6 oz) deviled ham (or chopped cooked ham + a little mustard and spices)
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise (adjust for creaminess)
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (or regular yellow mustard)
  • 2 tsp sweet pickle relish (optional)
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped celery or hard-boiled egg for extra texture

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients
    • In a bowl, mash deviled ham if needed.
    • Add mayonnaise, mustard, relish, and onion. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  2. Season
    • Taste and adjust salt and pepper.
  3. Chill
    • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
  4. Serve
    • Spread on sandwiches, crackers, or use as a filling for wraps.

Tips & Variations

  • Extra tangy: Add a splash of pickle juice or a dash of hot sauce.
  • Chunky version: Mix in finely chopped celery, bell peppers, or hard-boiled egg.
  • Make ahead: Can be made 1–2 days in advance; keep refrigerated.
  • Low-fat option: Use light mayo or Greek yogurt instead of full-fat mayo.
