Here’s a crowd-pleasing recipe for Crispy Chicken Fritters—golden on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfect as an appetizer or main 🍗✨


Crispy Chicken Fritters

Serves: 4–6


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, finely chopped or shredded
    (rotisserie works great)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 2 green onions, finely sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2–3 tbsp milk (as needed for thick batter)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Make the batter
    In a large bowl, whisk eggs.
    Stir in chicken, flour, cheese, green onions, garlic, paprika, onion powder, salt, pepper, and baking powder.
    Add milk a little at a time until batter is thick but scoopable.
  2. Heat oil
    Heat about ¼ inch of oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Fry fritters
    Scoop 2–3 tbsp batter per fritter into hot oil.
    Flatten slightly.
    Fry 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Drain & serve
    Drain on paper towels.
    Serve hot.

  • Sweet chili sauce
  • Buffalo sauce

Variations

  • Spicy: Add cayenne or diced jalapeños
  • Low-carb: Swap flour for almond flour
  • Herb-loaded: Add parsley, dill, or cilantro
  • Cheesy: Mix in Parmesan or pepper jack

  • Finely chop chicken for better binding
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan
  • Keep warm in a 200°F oven if frying in batches
