Here’s a rich, comforting creamy corn casserole recipe that’s super easy and always a crowd favorite:


🌽 Creamy Corn Casserole

🧾 Ingredients:

  • 1 can (15 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) cream-style corn
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup (1 stick) melted butter
  • 1 box (8.5 oz) corn muffin mix (like Jiffy)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional but recommended 😄)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, mix:
    • whole corn
    • cream-style corn
    • sour cream
    • melted butter
  3. Stir in the corn muffin mix until just combined (don’t overmix).
  4. Add salt, pepper, and half of the cheese.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 45–55 minutes, until the top is golden and the center is set.

💡 Tips:

  • Want it extra creamy? Add 2–3 tbsp cream cheese.
  • Like a little spice? Toss in chopped green chilies or jalapeños.
  • Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before serving—it firms up nicely.
