Here’s a classic, savory Cream Cheese Sausage Balls recipe—perfect for breakfast, brunch, or as a snack/appetizer.


🧀 Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage (pork or turkey, raw, uncooked)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups bisquick (or all-purpose flour with 1 tsp baking powder)
  • Optional: ½ tsp garlic powder or onion powder
  • Optional: pinch of salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    • 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix ingredients
    • In a large bowl, combine sausage, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, Bisquick, and optional seasonings.
    • Mix until evenly combined.
  3. Form balls
    • Scoop mixture and roll into 1-inch balls. Place on prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake
    • Bake 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temp ~160°F / 71°C for pork sausage).
  5. Serve
    • Let cool slightly and serve warm.

  • Cheese variations: Try pepper jack or smoked gouda.
  • Make-ahead: Freeze unbaked balls; bake directly from frozen, adding 5–7 minutes.
