Here’s a classic, creamy Cream Cheese Corn Casserole recipe — rich, slightly sweet, and perfect for holidays or potlucks.


🌽 Cream Cheese Corn Casserole

🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, enhances sweetness)
  • 1 (15 oz) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 (15 oz) can creamed corn
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Optional Add-ins:

  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 2-quart baking dish.
  2. Melt the base:
    In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine cream cheese, butter, and milk. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  3. Mix everything:
    Stir in whole kernel corn, creamed corn, sugar (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until fully combined.
  4. Bake:
    Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
  5. Optional cheesy top:
    Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top during the last 10 minutes of baking.
  6. Rest & serve:
    Let sit for 5–10 minutes before serving to thicken slightly.
