Ingredients (Serves 8–10)

Crust Layer:

  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers (about 8–10 sheets)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

Cream Layer:

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream)

Cherry Topping:

  • 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust
    • Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter.
    • Press mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch pan. Chill in the fridge while preparing the filling.
  2. Make the cream layer
    • Beat cream cheese until smooth.
    • Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
    • Fold in whipped topping gently until combined.
  3. Assemble the dessert
    • Spread the cream layer evenly over the chilled crust.
    • Pour cherry pie filling on top and spread gently.
  4. Chill & Serve
    • Refrigerate at least 2–3 hours (or overnight) to set.
    • Slice and serve cold.

  • Add sliced almonds or crushed nuts on top for extra crunch.
  • Use fresh or frozen cherries instead of canned for a lighter version.
  • For a festive touch, drizzle with melted chocolate before serving.
