Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls

Posted on January 4, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple, no-bake Chocolate Rice Krispie Balls recipe 🍫✨

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Rice Krispies (or any crisp rice cereal)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (milk or dark)
  • ½ cup peanut butter or Nutella (optional but popular)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • Sprinkles, shredded coconut, or cocoa powder (optional, for coating)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate and butter together (microwave in 20–30 sec bursts or use a double boiler). Stir until smooth.
  2. Mix in peanut butter or Nutella if using.
  3. Add honey/maple syrup if you want them a bit sweeter.
  4. Fold in the Rice Krispies gently until fully coated.
  5. Let cool for 5–10 minutes so it’s easier to handle.
  6. Roll into small balls using your hands.
  7. Coat with sprinkles, coconut, or cocoa powder if you like.
  8. Chill in the fridge for about 20–30 minutes until firm.

Tips

  • Too sticky? Add a bit more cereal.
  • Too dry? Add a little melted chocolate.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

If you want, I can give you a no-peanut version, vegan version, or one with marshmallows inside 😄
