Here’s an easy, tasty Chicken Stick Kababs 🍢🍗—juicy, flavorful, and great for grilling, baking, or air frying.


Chicken Stick Kababs

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1½ lbs boneless chicken (breast or thighs), cut into chunks
  • Wooden skewers (soaked in water 20–30 minutes)

Marinade

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice or yogurt
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon chili powder or cayenne

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken
    • Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl.
    • Add chicken and toss to coat.
    • Cover and marinate at least 30 minutes (up to 8 hours).
  2. Assemble kababs
    • Thread chicken onto skewers, leaving a little space between pieces.
  3. Cook
    • Grill: Medium-high heat, 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally
    • Oven: 425°F (220°C), 18–22 minutes, flipping once
    • Air fryer: 380°F (193°C), 12–14 minutes, shaking once
  4. Check doneness
    • Chicken should reach 165°F (75°C).
  5. Serve
    • Serve hot with rice, flatbread, or salad.

Tips & Variations

  • 🧅 Add onions, bell peppers, or tomatoes between chicken pieces
  • 🧄 Brush with butter or garlic butter after cooking
  • 🌿 Sprinkle with fresh herbs or drizzle with yogurt sauce
  • 🍯 For sweetness, add 1 teaspoon honey to marinade
