Chicken spaghetti

Here’s a classic, creamy, cozy Chicken Spaghetti recipe — easy, family-friendly, and perfect for potlucks or weeknight dinners!


🍽️ Creamy Chicken Spaghetti

Ingredients (Serves 6–8)

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ½ cup diced bell pepper (optional)
  • 1 can Rotel (diced tomatoes & green chilies), drained
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

🥣 Instructions

1. Cook the spaghetti

  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  • Drain and set aside.

2. Make the creamy sauce

In a large skillet or pot, combine:

  • cream of chicken soup
  • cream of mushroom soup
  • chicken broth
  • cheddar cheese
  • onion
  • bell pepper (optional)
  • Rotel
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • pepper & salt

Warm over medium heat until the cheese melts and the mixture is smooth.


3. Add chicken & pasta

  • Stir in the shredded chicken.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti and toss until everything is well coated.

4. Bake (optional but recommended)

  • Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  • Top with extra cheddar cheese.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes, until hot and bubbly.

⭐ Optional Add-Ins

  • ½ cup cream cheese for extra creaminess
  • 1 cup cooked mushrooms
  • 1 cup frozen peas or mixed veggies
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Use Velveeta instead of cheddar for a smoother sauce

🍽 Serving Suggestions

  • Garlic bread
  • Side salad
  • Roasted broccoli or green beans
