Cheese Bread

Here’s a simple, fluffy Cheese Bread recipe you can make at home 🧀🍞
(No yeast option included below too.)


Classic Homemade Cheese Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup melted butter or oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder.
  3. Stir in cheese until coated with flour.
  4. Whisk wet ingredients: milk, egg, melted butter.
  5. Combine wet and dry just until mixed.
  6. Pour into pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake 40–45 minutes, until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool 10 minutes before slicing.

Quick No-Yeast Skillet Cheese Bread (10–15 min)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • ½ cup milk or yogurt

Instructions

  1. Mix everything into a soft dough.
  2. Shape into a flat round.
  3. Cook in a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat, 5–7 minutes per side.
