Bread in 10 minutes

If you mean bread you can mix and have ready in about 10 minutes (no yeast, no waiting), this is the fastest and most reliable option 👇


10-Minute Bread (No Yeast, No Rise)

This is more like quick skillet or oven bread—soft, warm, and perfect with butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup milk (or water)
  • 2 tbsp oil or melted butter

Instructions (Skillet – fastest)

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Stir in milk and oil until a soft dough forms.
  3. Turn onto a floured surface and knead 30 seconds.
  4. Divide into 4–6 small flat rounds.
  5. Heat a skillet on medium.
  6. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

⏱️ From bowl to plate: about 10 minutes


Oven Option

  • Shape dough into a small round.
  • Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 10–12 minutes.

Easy Variations

  • 🧄 Garlic bread: add garlic powder + brush with butter
  • 🧀 Cheese bread: mix in shredded cheese
  • 🌿 Herb bread: add Italian seasoning
  • 🍯 Sweet: add 1 tbsp sugar or honey

Important to Know

  • This is quick bread, not traditional yeast bread.
  • Texture = soft and biscuit-like, not chewy.

  • Microwave bread (5 minutes)
  • Yeast bread with instant rise (30 minutes)
  • Flatbread / tortilla style
