If you want bread in 10 minutes, the fastest real option is a no-yeast skillet flatbread β€” no rising time, no oven required.


🍞 10-Minute No-Yeast Flatbread

Ingredients (makes 4 small breads)

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Β½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
  • ⅓–½ cup warm water

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Add oil and slowly add warm water while mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead lightly for 1–2 minutes (just until smooth).
  4. Divide into 4 balls and roll thin.
  5. Cook in a hot dry skillet for about 1–2 minutes per side until bubbles form and brown spots appear.

Done. Total time: about 8–10 minutes.


Optional Add-Ins

  • Garlic powder + herbs
  • Greek yogurt (replace half the water for softer bread)
  • A sprinkle of cheese inside before cooking
