Instructions

  2. Sauté Vegetables:
    • In a skillet, heat a little butter or oil.
    • Sauté onion, celery, mushrooms, and garlic until softened (about 5–7 minutes).
  3. Mix the Casserole:
    • In a large bowl, combine stuffing, sautéed vegetables, cooked meat (if using), herbs, salt, pepper, and eggs.
    • Gradually stir in broth until the mixture is moist but not soggy.
  4. Assemble:
