Apple Cinnamon Roll Casserole 🍎🥧

Apple Cinnamon Roll Casserole is a warm, sweet breakfast or dessert made with canned cinnamon rolls, apples, and a creamy custard. It’s especially popular for weekend brunches and holiday mornings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 1½ cups apple pie filling (or chopped cooked apples)
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar (optional)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and place them in a greased baking dish.
  3. Spread apple pie filling evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces.
  4. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
  5. Pour the mixture over the rolls and apples.
  6. Drizzle melted butter on top.
  7. Bake 35–40 minutes until golden and set in the center.
  8. Warm the icing from the cinnamon roll cans and drizzle over the casserole before serving.

Optional Add-Ins

  • Chopped pecans or walnuts
  • Raisins or dried cranberries
  • Extra apple slices for more fruit

Serving Tips

  • Best served warm with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • You can prepare it the night before and bake it in the morning for an easy breakfast.
