Ohhh yes — Amish Cinnamon Bread is pure cozy, smells like heaven, and somehow disappears the same day 😄
Here’s the classic, no-fail version everyone loves:


Amish Cinnamon Bread 🍞✨

Ingredients

Bread Batter

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Cinnamon Swirl

  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two loaf pans.
  2. Make batter
    Mix sugar, oil, eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla until smooth.
    Stir in flour and baking soda just until combined.
  3. Cinnamon mix
    Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  4. Layer
    Pour half the batter into pans. Sprinkle half the cinnamon mix over batter.
    Add remaining batter, then top with remaining cinnamon sugar.
  5. Swirl
    Use a knife to gently swirl (don’t overmix).
  6. Bake
    Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool
    Let cool 10 minutes before removing from pans.
