Honey Glazed Chicken
Ingredients
- 4–6 chicken thighs or breasts
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
- 2 tbsp ketchup or BBQ sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven
Preheat to 400°F (205°C). Lightly grease a baking dish. - Season chicken
Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper. - Make glaze
In a bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, ketchup, garlic, vinegar, and oil. - Bake
Place chicken in dish and pour glaze over top.
Bake uncovered:- 25–30 minutes (breasts)
- 35–40 minutes (thighs)
- Glaze & caramelize
Spoon sauce over chicken halfway through.
Broil 2–3 minutes at the end for a sticky finish. - Serve
Spoon extra glaze over chicken before serving.
