Scrambled eggs on toast 🍳🍞 — simple, fast, and perfect any time of day.

Classic Scrambled Eggs on Toast

Ingredients (1 serving)

  • 2 eggs
  • 1–2 slices bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt & pepper
  • Optional: splash of milk or cream

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread until golden and crisp.
  2. Whisk eggs with a pinch of salt, pepper, and milk (if using).
  3. Cook gently
    • Melt butter in a nonstick pan over low–medium heat.
    • Add eggs and stir slowly with a spatula, pushing from edges to center.
  4. Finish soft
    • Remove from heat while still slightly creamy (they’ll finish cooking).
  5. Serve
    • Spoon eggs over toast. Add extra butter if you like.

  • Cheese: cheddar, feta, or cream cheese
  • Herbs: chives, parsley, dill
  • Extras: avocado, smoked salmon, bacon, tomatoes
  • Spice: chili flakes or hot sauce
