Here’s a warm, cozy Oatmeal and Apples recipe—simple, comforting, and great for breakfast 🍎🥣

🍎 Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 cups water or milk (or half & half)
  • 1 medium apple, peeled and diced
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1–2 tablespoons brown sugar or honey (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon butter (optional)
  • Optional toppings: chopped nuts, raisins, extra apple slices

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring water or milk to a gentle boil.
  2. Stir in oats, diced apple, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until oats are tender and apples are soft.
  4. Stir in sweetener and butter.
  5. Remove from heat and let sit 1 minute to thicken.
  6. Serve warm with desired toppings.

  • Spiced: add nutmeg or apple pie spice
  • Baked oatmeal: bake at 375°F for 30 minutes
