This easy slow-cooked Pot roast recipe creates incredibly tender beef with a sweet-tangy glaze from Balsamic vinegar and Brown sugar. It’s perfect for a comforting dinner with almost no prep.


πŸ›’ Ingredients

  • 3–4 lb Beef chuck roast
  • Β½ cup Balsamic vinegar
  • Β½ cup Brown sugar

Optional for extra flavor:

  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³ Instructions (Slow Cooker)

1️⃣ Place roast in slow cooker
Put the chuck roast in the bottom of your slow cooker.

2️⃣ Mix the sauce
In a bowl, stir together balsamic vinegar and brown sugar until combined.

3️⃣ Pour over roast
Pour the mixture evenly over the beef.

4️⃣ Cook

  • LOW: 8 hours
  • HIGH: 4–5 hours

The meat should become very tender and easy to shred.

5️⃣ Serve
Spoon some of the sauce over the roast when serving.
