Here’s the classic Paula Deen’s 5-Minute Fudge recipe — rich, creamy, and incredibly easy. True to her style, it’s quick, no-bake, and perfect for gifts or holiday treats.


🍫✨ Paula Deen’s 5-Minute Fudge

Ingredients (Makes ~2 dozen pieces)

  • 3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional mix-ins: chopped nuts, mini marshmallows, or crushed candy

🥣 Instructions

1. Prepare pan

  • Line an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper or foil.
  • Lightly grease the lining.

2. Melt chocolate mixture

  • In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine:
    • chocolate chips
    • sweetened condensed milk
    • butter
  • Stir constantly until smooth and fully melted (about 5 minutes).

3. Add vanilla

  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  • Fold in optional mix-ins if desired.

4. Pour and chill

  • Pour mixture into prepared pan.
  • Smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Refrigerate 2–3 hours until firm.

5. Cut and serve

  • Lift fudge from pan using parchment/foil edges.
  • Cut into 1-inch squares and enjoy!

Nutty Fudge

  • Add ½ cup chopped pecans, walnuts, or almonds.

Mint Chocolate

  • Add ½ tsp peppermint extract instead of vanilla.
  • Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top before chilling.

Peanut Butter Swirl

  • Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter on top of melted fudge and swirl with a knife before chilling.

Holiday Mix

  • Fold in mini marshmallows, dried cranberries, or white chocolate chips.

🍽 Storage

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  • Freeze for up to 3 months.
