Ingredients (Serves 4)

For the Chicken

  • 2 large chicken breasts, sliced into thin cutlets (or 3–4 small breasts)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter

For the Alfredo Sauce

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

For the Pasta

  • 12 oz linguine
  • Salt for boiling water

Optional Garnish

  • Fresh parsley
  • Extra Parmesan
  • Red pepper flakes

🥣 Instructions

1. Cook the linguine

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook linguine according to package directions until al dente.
  3. Drain and set aside (reserve ½ cup pasta water).

2. Season and cook the chicken

  1. Pat chicken dry and season both sides with
    • salt
    • pepper
    • garlic powder
    • Italian seasoning
  2. Heat olive oil + 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
    • Slice or leave whole.

3. Make the creamy garlic Alfredo sauce

  1. In the same skillet, melt 4 tbsp butter.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté 30–60 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn!).
  3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until smooth and creamy.
  5. Season with:
    • salt
    • pepper
    • optional Italian seasoning
  6. If sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water.

4. Combine

  • Add cooked linguine to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat.
  • Place chicken on top or mix it in.

5. Serve

Top with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.
Add red pepper flakes if you want a spicy kick.

Creamier Sauce

  • Add 2 oz cream cheese to the sauce and melt until smooth.

  • Add roasted garlic or ½ tsp garlic paste.

  • Season the chicken with Cajun seasoning instead of Italian.
