Here’s a simple, crispy, and easy Air Fryer Potato Slices recipe — perfect as a snack, side, or even appetizer. No deep frying needed!

Ingredients (Serves 2–4)

  • 2–3 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or Russet work well)
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs like rosemary or parsley

🥣 Instructions

1. Prepare the potatoes

  • Wash and peel (optional) the potatoes.
  • Slice into ¼-inch thick rounds for even cooking.
  • Pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture — this helps them crisp.

2. Season

  • In a bowl, toss potato slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional spices or herbs.

3. Preheat air fryer

  • Preheat to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.

4. Cook

  • Place slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if needed).
  • Cook 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

5. Serve

  • Sprinkle with extra salt or fresh herbs if desired.
  • Serve immediately with ketchup, aioli, or your favorite dip.

Extra Crispy

  • Soak potato slices in cold water for 15–20 minutes before cooking. Pat dry.
  • This removes excess starch and makes them crunchier.

Cheesy Potato Slices

  • Sprinkle shredded Parmesan during the last 2 minutes of cooking.

  • Add ¼ tsp cayenne pepper or smoked paprika.
