🧂 Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- ½ cup cold butter (cubed)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¾–1 cup cold milk or buttermilk

- Preheat oven
Set to 220°C (425°F) and line a baking tray. - Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and garlic powder. - Cut in butter
Add cold butter and rub or cut it into the flour until it looks like coarse crumbs. - Add cheese
Stir in shredded cheddar. - Add liquid
Pour in milk or buttermilk and mix gently until just combined (don’t overmix). - Drop the dough
Scoop spoonfuls onto the baking tray (no shaping needed). - Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.

Mix:
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Pinch of garlic powder
- Chopped parsley
