Here’s a simple and delicious way to make Asparagus Stuffed Chicken Fillet—juicy chicken packed with cheesy asparagus flavor:


🥬 Asparagus Stuffed Chicken Fillet

🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breast fillets
  • 8–10 fresh asparagus spears (trimmed)
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella (or cheddar)
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • Toothpicks (to secure)

🔪 Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken
    • Slice each chicken breast horizontally to create a pocket (don’t cut all the way through).
  2. Season
    • Rub inside and outside with salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano.
  3. Make the filling
    • Mix mozzarella, cream cheese, and garlic in a bowl.
  4. Stuff it
    • Place 3–5 asparagus spears inside each chicken breast.
    • Add the cheese mixture on top.
    • Secure with toothpicks.
  5. Cook
    Option 1: Pan + Oven (best flavor)

    • Heat oil in a pan, sear chicken 3–4 minutes per side until golden.
    • Transfer to oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes.

    Option 2: All in pan

    • Cover and cook on low heat for 15–20 minutes, flipping occasionally.
  6. Rest & serve
    • Let rest 5 minutes before cutting.

🍽️ Serving Ideas

  • Garlic mashed potatoes
  • Steamed rice or butter rice
  • Fresh salad or sautéed vegetables

💡 Tips

  • Don’t overstuff or it may leak out.
  • Pound chicken slightly for even thickness.
  • Add chili flakes if you want a spicy kick 🌶️
