🍗 Golden-Brown Pan-Seared Chicken in Rich Creamy Sauce

🥩 Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp oil

For the sauce:

  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional: mushrooms or spinach

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Season the chicken
    Sprinkle salt, pepper, and paprika evenly.
  2. Sear to golden perfection
    Heat oil + butter in a pan. Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden-brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Build the flavor base
    In the same pan, sauté garlic (and mushrooms if using) for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Make the rich sauce
    Add chicken broth + cream. Stir and let it simmer gently.
  5. Add parmesan magic
    Mix in parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until smooth and creamy.
  6. Bring it all together
    Return chicken to the pan. Spoon sauce over it and simmer 5–7 minutes until fully cooked.
