Here’s a simple, hearty, Ground Beef & Noodles recipe — cozy, creamy, and easy to make with basic pantry ingredients.


🍽️ Ground Beef & Noodles (Easy Skillet or One-Pot Meal)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • 4 cups beef broth

  • 12 oz egg noodles (about 6 cups dry)

  • 1 cup sour cream (or ¾ cup heavy cream)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella (optional)

  • 2 tbsp butter (optional, for richness)

  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

1. Brown the beef

  1. In a large skillet or pot, cook ground beef over medium heat.

  2. When nearly browned, add onion and cook 3–4 minutes.

  3. Add garlic and cook 1 more minute.

  4. Drain excess grease if needed.


2. Season

Stir in:

  • Worcestershire sauce

  • Paprika

  • Salt & pepper


3. Add noodles

  1. Pour in beef broth.

  2. Add egg noodles.

  3. Push noodles down so they’re mostly submerged.

  4. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook 10–12 minutes, stirring once or twice, until noodles are tender.


4. Make it creamy

Turn off heat and stir in:

  • Sour cream (or heavy cream)

  • Butter (optional)

  • Cheese (optional)

The sauce will thicken as it sits.


5. Serve

Top with parsley if you like. Serve warm.


Variations

  • Beef & Mushroom: Add sliced mushrooms when cooking the onions.

  • Cheesy Version: Stir in 1–2 cups cheddar for a macaroni-and-beef style dish.

  • Tomato Style: Add a can of tomato sauce or diced tomatoes before adding noodles.

  • Veggie Boost: Add frozen peas, carrots, or corn during the last 5 minutes.
