3-Ingredient Beer-Braised Pork Chops

Beer-Braised Pork Chops are a simple, flavorful dish where pork chops cook slowly in beer until they become tender and juicy. This 3-ingredient version is quick and perfect for beginners.


🍺 3-Ingredient Beer-Braised Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1 bottle (12 oz) beer (lager or ale works best)
  • 1 packet onion soup mix

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Place pork chops in a skillet, Dutch oven, or slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle onion soup mix evenly over the chops.
  3. Pour the beer over everything.
  4. Cook:

Stovetop (best flavor)

  • Cover and simmer 45–60 minutes on low until tender.

Oven

  • Cover and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1–1.5 hours.

Slow cooker

  • Cook 6 hours on low or 3–4 hours on high.

🍽️ Serving Ideas

These pork chops go great with:

  • Mashed potatoes
  • Roasted potatoes
  • Rice
  • Buttered noodles

Spoon the beer gravy from the pan over the meat and sides.


✅ Extra Tip:
If you want thicker gravy, mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch + 2 tablespoons water and stir it into the sauce during the last 5 minutes.
