🍎 Cinnamon Roll Apple Bake with Pecans

🛒 Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 2 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp work great), peeled & diced
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish.
  2. Prepare apples:
    In a bowl, toss diced apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and melted butter. Fold in chopped pecans.
  3. Cut cinnamon rolls:
    Open cans and set icing aside. Cut each cinnamon roll into quarters.
  4. Assemble:
    Spread half of the cinnamon roll pieces into the baking dish.
    Spoon half of the apple-pecan mixture over them.
    Repeat with remaining rolls and apple mixture.
  5. Bake for 25–35 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Finish:
    Warm the reserved icing slightly and drizzle over the bake before serving.

  • Caramel drizzle for extra indulgence
  • Cream cheese glaze instead of standard icing
  • A pinch of sea salt on top for contrast
