Here’s a classic, comforting Chicken and Stuffing Casserole — creamy, savory, and perfect for a weeknight dinner.


🥘 Chicken and Stuffing Casserole

🛒 Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • 1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix (like Stove Top Stuffing Mix)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup (such as Campbell’s Cream of Chicken Soup)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Salt & pepper to taste

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions (usually with hot water and butter).
  3. In a large bowl, mix:
    • Chicken
    • Cream of chicken soup
    • Sour cream
    • Milk
    • Vegetables (if using)
    • Salt & pepper
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Spoon prepared stuffing evenly over the top.
  6. Drizzle melted butter and chicken broth over the stuffing for extra moisture.
  7. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until hot and bubbly.

🔄 Easy Variations

  • Add 1 cup shredded cheddar for a cheesy version.
  • Swap cream of chicken for cream of mushroom.
  • Use rotisserie chicken for extra flavor.
  • Add sautéed onions & celery for a homemade touch.
